Our story
Demonster Games was founded in 2020 by Game Designer and Level Designer Nick van 't End, and Story Designer and Concept Artist Nina Kramer. After asking for some story insights Nina and Nick found common ground to go on this adventure together. What moves us? What makes us so enthusiastic about this endeavour?
Nick
My passion for games started at a young age, in elementary school, wanting to make my own games. l created levels for Warcraft 2, Quake, Half-Life and Counter-Strike, which I played together with my school friends. My journey continued and I dived into the world of 3D, motion graphics, etc. My creations seemed technically challenging, but they all seem to be missing something. Only later in life, being on my spiritual path, I knew what it was, what was missing.. that was my heart. My spiritual journey has been of many extreme's, going through many great heights as well as deep self-destructive depths of the psyche. After a big transformation, I decided to get my creative self back. What came back was the dream I had as a kid growing up, making a game. This time I knew my focus would be on healing, authenticity and creating an experience from the heart.


Nina
Stories have always been a big part of my life. As a young child, I was bored at school and was always reading books during lessons, exploring different lives, different worlds. This interest never left me. As a designer and artist, I started not only looking for different worlds but also looking for ways to make a difference in our own world, if only on a small scale.
On a different path, I have also always been very sensitive to the hidden world of energies, the subconscious, the unseen, what lies beneath the five main senses. So I got degrees in healing, reading and lightwork, which might sound vague but really is all about facing who you really are, including you monsters and demons. This is where Nick and I found our common ground, together with our professional interest and experience with gaming.

Why demonster games
We see that the world is under a great shift, a shift towards the collective growth of our consciousness to the next level, the level of the heart. The games of Demonster Games should add and aid into this shift. By shining a light on your own shadows and making the darkness conscious, and facing the demons that hinder liberation. With the intention to achieve the sustainable transformation we create experiences that move you.
Thereby also helping the rest of humanity to progress to the next phase of human evolution, towards the level of the heart, unconditional love and union with everything and everyone, liberated and unlocking our full potential.We want to create authentic, engaging and meaningful games, games that help all players come into contact with their hearts. To shine upon the darkness of humanity, the darkness that every person carries in our collective unconscious and (unconsciously) experience this while playing. Let's all live life from our hearts instead of the head.
